Product details
The Château Belregard Figeac vineyard offers tremendous diversity on account of its rich variety of soils and microclimates. The vintage: The 2015 vintage was marked by mild temperatures and low rainfall throughout the winter, up to the month of April, allowing a harmonious budburst across the vine. The summer season got off to a great start, concentrating the flowering period over the first two weeks of June. A very hot start to July caused water stress which led to early veraison and nicely concentrated fruit. A small amount of rainfall in August marked the beginning of an early, homogeneous ripening period. Harvests: Harvesting by hand. Wine making: Traditional winemaking at controlled temperatures with a maceration period of 15 to 20 days. Growing: 50% in French oak barrels for 15 months, 50% in stainless steel and concrete vats. Appearance: A deep, intense appearance, with hints of purple. The images of the Products and any packaging (if applicable) on our Website are for illustrative purposes only.
