Cachaça Coronel Xavier Chaves is white, a pure cachaça without barrel aging. The aroma reminds the freshness of the sugar cane fields. The taste, which begins vigorous, turns almost sweet and fills your mouth. It´s production process follows the tradition of more than 250 years, starting with the manual harvest of sugarcane, following the natural fermentation and distillation in copper stills. We use only the best part of the batch: the noblest part of distillation, known as the heart of the cachaça. This Cachaça is produced at the oldest "engenho" (distillery) in operation in Brazil, according to the Ministry of Tourism. It belonged to the family of Tiradentes, a martyr from Minas Gerais, and a national hero. Cachaça has been made there for over 250 years.
